In 2026, it will be 40 years since the release of Paul Simon's Graceland album. This milestone in popular music will be celebrated with a unique concert at the Savoy Theatre, when the internationally acclaimed Anglo-African The London African Gospel Choir will take to the stage.
The original Graceland (1986) was a groundbreaking work that brought South African rhythms and township music to the attention of the general public, won the Grammy Award for Best Album of the Year and built a bridge between cultures. To celebrate the anniversary, The London African Gospel Choir will perform their own interpretation of the album, which was praised by critics and audiences.
